For professionals
For professionals: the habits that hold up the work
The habits that support demanding work are the first to be cut when the work gets demanding. That is not a coincidence, and it is measurable.
How does Crescendo help professionals?
Crescendo tracks the habits underpinning sustained professional output — sleep, exercise, recovery, deep work — against mood, and reports which are statistically related to how your weeks actually go. It is built for months-long horizons rather than daily task management.
The habits that get cut first
Sleep, exercise and anything that looks optional are the first things traded away when a deadline arrives, and they are frequently the things that were holding the output up. The trade feels rational in the moment because the cost is delayed by a week or two and the benefit is immediate.
Measuring it closes that gap. Not with general advice about wellbeing, but with a test on your own data that is allowed to come back null — because for some people some of these habits genuinely are not load-bearing, and knowing which is the useful part.
Long horizons, not task management
This is not a task manager and does not try to be one. It is aimed at the class of goal that takes a year and produces no visible daily progress — a qualification, a body of work, a change in how you operate — where the failure mode is not forgetting a task but losing the thread over months.
What is kept private
Journal text never leaves your account: not to an advertising platform, not into a training set, and not into our own analytics, where the recorded event is a word count rather than the words. The AI reflection feature receives the specific entry you asked about plus statistics already computed, and retains neither.
Mood and sleep are treated as health data and are not forwarded to an ad platform under any consent setting, on the basis that being permitted to do something is not the same as it being reasonable.

Common questions
- Is this a task manager?
- No, and deliberately so. It is aimed at goals measured in months, where the failure mode is losing the thread rather than forgetting an item. A task manager is the right tool for the other problem and this does not attempt to replace one.
- Will my employer or anyone else see this data?
- No. There is no employer dashboard, no team visibility and no reporting surface of that kind. Journal text never leaves your account, and mood and sleep are never forwarded to advertising platforms under any consent setting.
- Does the AI feature read my journal?
- Only the specific entry you ask it about, together with statistics that were already computed. It retains neither afterwards, and journal text is not used for training.
- How does this help with burnout?
- By making the trade visible before the bill arrives. The habits that support sustained output are cut first under pressure because their cost is delayed; testing them against your own mood data shortens that delay to something you can act on. It is a measurement tool, not a clinical one.
- Can I get my data out?
- Yes — a full export of your history is available on request, and the data export page explains the format and what it contains.
