If you decline
Nothing stops working. You stay signed in, every feature behaves the same, and your statistics are unaffected. What changes is that we can no longer tell which pages helped you, and we keep paying for advertising that does not reach people like you. That is our problem to solve, not a reason to make it yours.
Your browser can also decide
Every major browser lets you block or clear cookies for a site. Doing so signs you out and resets this preference, and we will ask again — which is the correct behaviour, since a cleared choice is not a choice.
